I just finished Ghost Hound, The latest anime by Production I.G from the Ghost in the Shell fame. And to say the least, I'm stunned. The animation is beautiful and the story is just beginning. So many questions need to be answered.

The first episode mainly consisted of the introduction of Komori and a few other scenes consisting of other characters that will probably come into play much later in the series. We find out that the protagonist Komori has narcolepsy. Whenever Komori falls asleep he becomes what seems to be a 'Ghost Hound' But as of now a 'Ghost Hound' could and probably is a metaphor for something very different.
We also learn that a tragic incident happened in Komori's life eleven years ago, Him and his sister appear to have got abducted and only him surviving and his sister never to be found again. From what I can see, The girl Komori goes to when he is in his 'Ghost Hound' form is his sister. Yet he can't do anything about it.

So many questions its impossible to list them all down, Even after one episode of this I can firmly say that this is (as suspected) the best series along with Kaiji from this fall anime season. I can't wait for more.

Kaiji's Fallen Dragonaut Pieces are Reborn!

I finally caught up to the current One Piece episodes the other day, And I had mixed feelings once I got there. Firstly I was happy, I can start some of the new series' and the second was that now I have to wait week after week for episodes. Its unfair, One Piece is too damn hardcore, I need much more.

To get over this, I tried another (fairly) long running series, 50 odd episodes with no sign of stopping, Sounds good, Of course I was talking about Katekyō Hitman REBORN!. I'm currently on the second episode and it is mildly entertaining. My trustworthy source of Wikipedia says that the first 18 episodes is the 'introductions' and then it shall get going by my suspicions.
Anyway, Reborn appears to have just dropped out his mothers womb and climbed his way to one of the Mafia's Higher up in what seems to be a matter of weeks. With several sorts of weird gizmo's, Reborn doesn't disappoint. He is around to train up Tsuna to become the 10th Vongola boss.
This series is first and foremost a comedy series, So I don't expect much in terms of long running continuity and action, At that, I am currently throughly enjoying the series as far.

As for the fall season, I started Dragonaut: Resonance and Kaiji. The latter being much better by far. It having a totally original drawing style, with a genre/storyline that I haven't really seen anything off as far in the otaku world.

Dragonaut does look like any other anime to be totally honest, The characters look a bit horizontal for my likings [Strange Sentence]. But I will keep going with it for a few more episodes to give it a chance to shine. The dragon? seemed pretty cool, and the inner romance story might intrigue me.

Nonsensical Rants = I'm Back!

Okay. . . . . .

I'm going to do this again. (Commitment). I haven't posted on this blog since July 24th, Its October now, That can't be a good thing.

Now, I'll go through a few highlights of some of the anime I've watched:

One Piece- Another JUMP anime to please me, My god. Its awesome. Currently on episode 302 with the Enies lobby arc end in sight. Luffy now has one of them power thing's that most shounen stories have, In this case, Called a Gear. As far I've only seen him click ass with Gear two whilst Gear three as of now shrinks him. Almost up-to-date with the latest episodes. And It DOES look spectacular in High Definition. :D

Code Geass- Was a good show. I thought some of the mecha fights were a tad boring, But it overcomes it with the two parter ending special [24 - 25]. Such a cliffhanger.

LoveCom- I wasn't all to sure whether it was going to pull it off around mid-way through the series, But now it has shot itself right up to one of my favourites. Ōtani and Koizumi are have their ups and downs, But pull through in the end. I can't wait to finish off all the manga.

With Lucky Star- I thought It started to fall down towards the end of the series, But totally re-deemed itself in the last few episodes. Soon as they mentioned Cheer leading, I knew where it was going. YAY. Everything was wrapped up nicely.

I think for now, I'm done (or rather I couldn't be bothered to continue). I shall be back whenever I damn well feel like it.

Expect MOAR or GTFO.

LoveCom, Is It Actually Going Anywhere?

After getting up-to-date of Lovely Complex, i just have this horrible feeling that the anime just isn't going anywhere.

Why aren't they together yet?

Also from what i can find, is there is not a end in sight, i do like the show, but for how long, the girl Risa is just annoying as hell although on the off chance quite entertaining to watch.
The boy, Ōtani, has a absolutely awful life from what i am seeing, he appears to be popular. And yet this girl is chasing him around.
After about 8 episodes, Risa finally confesses her love to him, and of course, Ōtani doesn't understand.
And they go back to normal, as because she said, Just ignore it.

Although things are starting to get a bit better, at episode 15, how much longer can they drag on this so called LoveCom until they finally start dating. *sigh*

Gdbye Despr Tcher Haruhi

AUKN has just made me wanting to get going on my blog, due to the fact that Paul has made a RSS feed featuring every blogger of AUKN.

So. . .Here goes nothing. . . . . . .again!.
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei one of my current instant favourites. Its about a new teacher of a school trying to constantly kill himself, but not succeeding so many times. With everything this teacher called Nozomu Itoshiki comes across that is utterly horrible and dark Kafuka Fūra is there to show the impossible yet happy side of things.
There is a random face that floats around in the anime, and has yet to be mentioned, he is the school clock face, the censor bar, he is one of the reasons to watch. :D

Also; yesterday i watched Voices of a Distant Star and in my opinion i found almost everything just disgusting. The premise is stupid, it taking 8 years to send a text message though space, What about Service Providers??? The disliked the animation and CG from the get-go, everything was just odd and repelling to me. Still didn't waste too much of my time, it being a 25 minute OVA. xD.

Lastly for tonight i started to watch the second and third episode of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and i absolultely love everything about it, and altough i kind of guessed Haruhi being a alien or something due to the wizardry pilot first episode. Haruhi starting the club, making it 'popular', getting members, stealing a computer. . .all this for what is at the moment a club of nothingness, of in other words, SOS Brigade.

Lagoon Robots

As you may presume i have been re-watched in its entirety Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage; and the robots are due to some more re-watching of the almighty Neon Genesis Evangelion before i purchase the box set.

Black Lagoon was so. . .much better this time i watched it, i wonder if that will be the case if i re-watched the first barrage. I love watching Revy getting worked up over Japanese people and shouting English abuse at them. I am deffinately getting the DVD's of this, considering on only buying the Second Barrage though. xD. At least Revy got something out of Rock in the very end scene. haha.

Now, the legendary Neon Genesis Evangelion, as deep as a anime can probably be, They is no need for all the life meanings and etc, in the series' but no doubt that is one of the main reasons Evangelion still remains in the souls of so many people to this day, even though it is about a decade old this year. You have still got too love the first 20 episodes so dearly though, the Penguin, the art work, the brilliance, the EVA's. Such a fucking brilliant show!

LoveCom In The Morn

Early this morning/late last night; i was browsing YouTube and i came across Lovely Complex; and i have got to say, to my surprise, i enjoyed it.

The story is to do with a really short boy and a really tall girl, become boyfriend and girlfriend, and of course, due to the height issue, its weird.

In this first episode, they hate each other's guts, but they try to fix each other up people, The boy being tall; and the girl being small. xD. this of course starts off very well, but seems to be somewhat weird of the Tall boy and Small girl, due to that they aren't very used to talking to the opposite sex, and the only reason they can talk to their opposites, Tall girl and small boy; is because due to their height, they see them as the same gender as themselves.

Of course now, the tall boy and the small girl start a relationship; leaving the other two totally out of the picture.

Now! a competition has been put in place for the tall girl and the small boy for the first one to get a boy/girlfriend. . . . . . .

. . .I wonder where this is going. =)

Clean Up With BLEACH

Episode #131 of Bleach, and finally the fucking whiny Shouta kid has gone back to the fiery depths of hell. . .i mean soul society, along with Yui his sister.

I liked the action in this episode; Captain Hitsugaya went all out trying to find this Arrancar to whom was making hundreds of thousand clones of arrancars; Renji popped in for a few minutes to kill some of them.

Still NO Ichigo though. =(

Back to reality, Tomorrows going to be fucking awful, Maths Exam and some random church mass thing (to which i don't care for whatsoever, being atheist and all. xD). And then two of the most boring lessons ever.

Still Naruto Shippuden to give me twenty minutes of viewing pleasure after schoolio is finished.

Death Note Is Finished!

The last episode; 37, is everything i expected it too be, Raito dies, by Ryuk killing him...In the end anyway. Mikami freaked out and committed suicide with a pen he was writing the names with.
Nate Rivers aka Near previously said he had changed the Note Book, but Raito didn't know that it was to this extent. Matsuda originally shots Raito after he is trying to kill the last people, with his piece of Death Note he has hidden in his watch.

Matsuda didn't only shoot once, he shoots about 5 times. Poor Raito, awww...I knew this was going to happen, i just didn't want Raito to lose, you get so much happiness from seeing this intelligent boy/man win.

The last two episodes are seriously compressed to what i have read anyway Still doesn't lose the fact that they were the greatest episodes, even though i seriously can't wait to get a hold of the last Tankobon and read all about it the end in more detail and how it was suppose to happen after all. x)

Stuck On A Women Filled Island. . . . . . A Dreamland. . . No!

Nagasarete Airantou 11, Well another pointless, crazy and perverse episode.

Ikuto feels sorry for Suzu after she has slept in a bath dreaming about Ikuto bathing with her. ;). Suzu appears to have a common cold after this bad sleeping arrangement. Ikuto is told her Suzu's grandmother that she needs some Ice to keep her temperature down. So. . .Ikuto rushes off to find that Yukino's mother has eaten it all (with sauces, of course). Now awkwardly he has to climb to the top of the tallest mountain on the island to get some snow and make it into ice. Once Ikuto and the others he has found along the way have got to the top, Ikuto has a revelation; that he really didn't need to go all the way to the top. xD. A blizzard starts, Ikuto heads off determined to get back to Suzu, the others stay there. . . . . . after a while, they get curious as to whether he is still alive, so they head out, and in a quiet and splendid fashion they do. An Avalanche starts, rushing Ikuto and all the others to the bottom of the Mountain.

Ikuto gets to the bottom and rushes off the his house only to find that Suzu is fully recovered and doesn't need the small amount of ice that he finally got from the mountain. After the exhilaration of going up and down the mountain in one day, Ikuto faints and receives a cold from the extreme changes of temperature from the top of the mountain and the bottom of the mountain. xD.

A BCS examage for me tomorrow, Tragic isn't it!. Hopefully get a A though. =]

Confusing enough for you, Well the same for me. But it is one hell of a spectacle to view. The animation is first class and has some of the finest details in each character; if not totally visible, its in an range of emotions.

I am currently on episode 5, and i cannot wait for the next episode. Highly anticipating the final episode of Death Note first though, ((((Light-kun Dies))))

Now tomorrow. . . .another internal exam 'English'.

Nothing Much Happened

Wasn't going to post anything today. . .feeling a bit depressed

Moving onto bigger things. . .
Rewatched some Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage today. I swear i like it a lot more this time than i did the first time i watched the series. It might of had something to do with that when i first time i watched it, i just rushed though wanting to get it over, due to the fact that i wasn't very impressed with the first barrage.

Think i am going to have to finish off watching the second barrage sometime over the week. Joy of Joys, xD.

Took about 1 hour and 30 minutes to fully set it up. Just need to get used to it now, 46" is surprising big, yet strangely small.

Shonen Stories

Woop Woop, This week more JUMP shows.

I'll begin with NARUTO Shippuden 18,
Both groups, Team Katashi and Team Gai have met up at the gate of Akatsuki's Lair, this is the place where they were removing Gaara's Jinchuuriki from him. oh dear. Its totally gone and both groups need to get into the cave hideout. They notice that they have a 5 lock seal going on there, one seal being at the top of the cave and other being spread out to a distance of over 800 meters. The group seperates with the help of Neji's Byakugan to find the seals. They found them easily enough, and removed so that Sakura could break down the wall. In the cave was Deidara and Sasori just waiting for the team. Muhahahaha

BLEACH #130 is up next, the Arrancar arc continues; Shouta the kid worries about his sister, More Arrancar show up, they fight some more. Not much of a intresting episode really. The animation was as good as always though, xD.

Finally; leaving the greatest episode so far out of all previously mentioned series' and also the best episode of the series so far, Death Note 36. Light And Near finally meet up, Near had to wait 30 minutes to see if anyone was going to die and see if its still safe for him to take off his mask himself. Seconds take Minutes and Mikami turns up and writes everyone's names in the Death Note in the absolute most awesome fashion ever; of course Near knows figured this out, by looking at Mikami filling in exactly one page per day, no more, no less. Near replaced that dates page with a normal page. Light knew Near would do this and has been having Takada writing the real names in the Death Note; whilst Mikami was doing it all for show for Near's people. xD. Mikami now has the real Death Note writing the names in outside of the room. Near asks Mikami to come in, He hesitates until Light aka God says its alright to come in; Light confirms with Mikami that all the names have been wrote in the Death Note and then it does the countdown till the first death. . . . . . .9. . . . 8. . . . . 7. . . .6. . . .5. . . . .4. . . .3. . . . .2. . . .To be continued.
Next week's episode shall be the penultimate episode. Can't Fucking Wait!

The MONSTER Is Coming. . . .

Watched episode's 6 & 7 of MONSTER.

Johann is a killing everyone including the Newspaper person (to whom i forget the name) and Nina's adopted parents; therefore after the murder Doctor Tenma took Nina with him and went to escape, only to find the police at the door, the problem was that the police seemed to know a little bit too much information about whats was going on. Including the fact that Tenma is a doctor. Whilst driving the police get pulled over by some other police and they have a bit of a chit chat. Tenma asked to take Nina outside for a breathe of fresh air and after a while the police let slip some information they shouldn't of have; Tenma reacted quickly to this and jumped off the bridge they were on, taking Nina with him.
Tenma and Nina ran off somewhere in a forest,

Things were going smoothly but still troublesome.

Tenma Returned after going off somewhere and couldn't find Nina/Anna but only found a letter along with some sandwiches. xD. twas an very emotional time.

Lucky ☆ Starness

Amazing, another episode of the oh so brilliant Lucky ☆ Star, episode 11 to be precise.

Its christmas, Konata has to work late at her normal Cosplay cafe, except this time she can dress up as Santa; whom coincidentally she still believed in till Kagami tells her.

Y'know by this point in writing this i can't remember what has exactly happened in the duration of the show.

They're were so many conversations about nonsensical things. Not the greatest episode in the series so far, still not as bad as one i can't recall the number off.
oh well.

Watched the second episode of Coyote Ragtime Show

Still utterly perplexed by what the hell is actually meant to be happening and moving the story along.
The idea i got from it is that they're were some people robbing a bank or something, someone jumped was hanging onto a building with this girl. This girl thinks the man wants her necklace, but he actually wants her. ooooooh Both drop of the tall building taking absolutely ages to fall to the ground, just before they hit the ground some other dude comes in for the rescue now that he has full power flying this big spaceship contraption of a like.
For some compelling reason i need more insane but serious anime.

Good anime gaming news,

Afro Samurai: The Game is going to be released later this year/early next year on XBOX 360 consoles.

Here's hoping for a PS3 release.

The first official trailer was played a one off time at a San Francisco presentation last week.

There's almost no doubt that it will be officially released and probably in High Definition soon enough.
